After School Care
We run an After School Club during term time, based at Halyrude Primary School for children from Halyrude and Kingsland schools. In addition to this we run the After School Club at St Ronans Primary School in Innerleithen.
We plan our weekly programmes with the children and find that the majority want the freedom to play freely outdoors after school. Our focus is very much on giving them that opportunity. Other activities may include arts and crafts, board games, jigsaws and construction materials, cooking and baking, music and drama, imaginary play and sports, both indoors and especially outdoors.
Holiday Care
We also run a holiday club for school age children. This offers a wide range of experiences and activities, including trips and outings to local attractions, Forest School sessions and visits from various specialists with activities such as jewellery and crafts, drama, sports sessions, biking skills. Parents are issued with a programme in advance of school holidays and can book their children in for activities of their choice.
